Atayal tribe use this Maqaw for many of their local foods. Now, we have Maqaw Coffee from tribe elder lady taught me. I got some Maqaw and done with KONO drip at home.
After coffee bean roasting, it move to mix process with a bit of salt and a lot of sugars. After mixed is more like a coffee chocolate more like cooking to me. Those chunks are put into grinders and ready for drink.
