These books are for my collection.
I already have the paperback edition for all 5 books for reading purpose so these are mainly for collection purpose. They are absolutely beautiful.
The books have definitely made my bookshelf colorful, fantastic and splendid.
So far for this edition, only 3 books are out. I'm guessing the 4th book (A Feast For Crows) will be coming out maybe in Spring 2021. I wonder what color will the front cover be... I'm guessing green...?
We already have Gold, Blue and Red...
We shall see...

As for the 6th book (which is taking forever...), The Winds of Winter, I hope that GRRM is working smoothly on it...
I'm guessing it will be out maybe in Summer 2021... if everything goes well.
I'm planning to get it as soon as possible!

I really love “A song of Ice and Fire”, although my favorite characters are very few and there are many characters I hate; the story is extremely interesting and unique, something I've never seen in any other books before.
Whether I love them or not, the characters are all very gray nd complex.
I like the fact that there is no absolute justice in this story because everything can be seen in other way round from different perspective. GRRM himself has said that...

So if someone finds the story to be Justice VS Evil then the person must not be getting the right message from GRRM.
Though, I do have favorite characters that I love... I know they won't get happy ending..
Anyway... this is still a true masterpiece !!!

But she looks kindda lonely alone...
Need to get Jaime too!!
(My friend in US has found Jaime so he will be arriving soon.... )

I don't collect other dolls though.
All I need are Jaime and Cersei.
I don't need the rest !!
There are many characters I love such as Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons... but I don't really want to display them together with Jaime and Cersei since they are enemies; and I want Cersei to be in peace

So I don't plan to get other dolls...
I might still get Dany and her dragons if I have new shelf. Not anytime soon though.

アメリカにいる家族や親友やお世話になって人達に、カードを毎年おくっている。
ほとんどはメールやラインで、簡単なのを送るけど、人によっては、ちゃんとカードで送る。
今年は、12枚。
いつも、クリスマスの2－3週間前に送るが、今回はコロナの関係で郵便に大幅の遅延が出ているし、EMSも使えなくなったので、クリスマスの5週間前を目安に送った。これでも、クリスマスの前に届くかどうかは不明。もしかして、正月になる可能性もある。まあ、しょうがない...

これは、たくさんあるカードの中の一つで親友当て。
封筒までクリスマスらしくてかわいい。

ちゃんと届きますように。

この前、川崎ラゾーナに行ってきたら、Harry Potter関連のグッズが売られてた！！
Hogwartsの制服っぽい洋服とか！！
すっごく可愛くてほしいけど、一瞬、買いそうになったけど！！よーく考えてみたら、絶対に似合わないし着ないよなー笑。私は部屋のインテリアや家具や持ち物は、ゴシックやロココ調やファンタジーな感じのものが沢山あるけど、でも服に関しては、いたってシンプル＆カジュアル！！あまりお洒落に気を遣う方でもない。
（AMERICAN EAGLE 、Abercrombie & Fitch、GAP、H＆M、ZARA、UNIQRO、これらが主な服のブランド）
だから、本当に、こういうのは着ないし似合わない。でも、とーーっても可愛いし素敵。
色合いが好き。
こういうのが似合うお人形のような人達が羨ましいな～。
観ているだけでも癒されるしたのしい。
でも、ちゃっかり、ベルトだけは購入しました！！！！！！

今年一番早いクリスマスカードは、弟から。
弟はアメリカで働いている。ほしいものがあって、それを送ってと頼んでたので、送ってもらったついでに、カードも入ってた

クリスマスは、家族と過ごすのが恒例だけど、コロナの影響で、今年のクリスマスは、両親、弟、恋人とは過ごせないなー。
両親はシンガポール。
兄、弟、恋人は、みんなアメリカ。（それぞれ別の州）
親友もアメリカ。
なので、私は日本で、1人でクリスマスか、友達と少人数で、Home Party。
コロナもあるし、あまり人を家に呼びたくないので、たぶん、一緒に食事をするにしても、私を入れて、2－3人だけの超少人数にする予定。

私は家族と離れて1人で日本に住んでいるが、毎回、アメリカから小包が届く。
自分で注文した AMAZONや、eBay からのものもあれば、恋人や親友からも頻繁に届く。
食べ物類が多いね。
弟からの送りものは久々。というか、私が送ってほしいものがあったので、頼んだのだ。
でも、カードはサプライズ。
ありがとう

やっぱり、いくつになっても、弟は可愛い。
母親似の弟は、小さい頃は、とても可愛くて、眼が大きくて輝いてて、女の子ようだった。
そんな弟も、私と年齢が一個しか違わないので、今はオッサンだけどね。
昔はよく自分のドレスを着せて、女装させて遊んでた事もあったな笑。懐かしい思い出。

家の棚を整理していたら、見つかった！ずっと前に勝ったものだ！
お宝！
Harry Potterの大ファンの私は、実家にチェスセットがあるし、オルゴールなどのグッズもある。
映画も複数かい観たし、本（オリジナルのUK版）も2回は読んだ。
とにかく大好き。

で、何度かハリーポッターのどのHOUSEに入れるかのテストを行ったけど、ほぼ毎回Slytherin！
70％はSlytherin
20％はRavenclaw
10％はGryffindor

だから、Gryffindorに割り当てられた事も確かにある。
ただ、ほぼSlytherinだ！
Slytherin、好きだから嬉しいけどね。
主人公のHarryからしたら、Malfoyがいるし、Tom Riddleがいた敵チームだけど、Slytherinを単純に、Villanと解釈してる人はハッキリいって、読解力ないよ。そもそも同じ学校なのに、HOUSEが違うだけで、HeroもVillanもないよ。私は誇りをもって、Slytherinに割り当てられたいね。
でも紋章だけでいうなら、蛇は嫌いだから、やっぱり、ライオンの方が素敵...笑。

デザインが好きなのは、蛇より、やっぱり、Gryffindor！
真紅とゴールドとライオン。
Game of ThronesのLannister家の紋章とすごく似ている。
（というか、イギリスでは、このライオンの紋章はよく見かける。）
GoTでは、私は完全に、ライオンのLannister家推し。キャラも好きだし、紋章もカッコいい。

Harry Potterにいたっては、Gryffindorも、もちろん好き。（Slytherinの次に好き)
だから、このマグカップ！
棚を整理して飾る予定です。

日本円の旧札を引き出しから発見！

日本円の旧札を引き出しから発見！

この前、引き出しを整理していたら、古いお札を発見！
これは、父方の祖父の遺品。
私はアメリカ出身で、父も大学からアメリカで、家族ともにアメリカ国籍だけど
その父の父（つまり私の祖父）は、日本人で、武家の家系らしい！詳しくは知らないけど。
その祖父の遺品。実は祖父の家には、お宝が色々あって、日本刀もある！
私が、自分の家に持ち帰った遺品は、これ。この旧札。
ずっと引き出しにしまっていて、存在を忘れてた笑。

売ったらどれぐらいの金額かな？大した金額じゃないと思うけど。
まあ、もちろん売らないけどね。
せっかくだから、コレクション。

この1万円の人は、聖徳太子かな。
大切にとっておきます！

All of my ASoIaF collections...

I already have the paperback for all the 5 books.
I'm re-reading everything for the 2nd time.
This time, I'm concentrating more on the characters I'm interested in such as Jaime.
Book Jaime can be kindda fucked up but very complex character who has toxic obsession towards his sister. On the other hand, GOT Jaime (acted by hot sexy Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) actually succeed in not only showing toxic obsessive love towards his sister but he actually showed real deep love for her. He loved her deeply as her true lover, her twin-brother and her bestfriend.
He failed to be her prince charming or shining knight because just like all the characters, he was not a hero or superman, but just a human... but he truly cared for her.
He also showed some fatherly love for Myrcella...
Book Jaime so far has not showed any love for his kids but he actually doesn't even give a fuck about them at all. He seems to care more about his enemy's daughters than his own three kids or Cersei's pain for losing her kids!! So yah... book Jaime piss me off most of the time... but I still continue with the book and looking forward for his better character development as Cersei's golden knight. I hope he can be the true knight and that's not by killing his sister but by protecting her.
If he has to kill her in the end like the prophecy, I hope it would be something out of love or mercy for Cersei.

I'm scared but excited to see the fate of Cersei and Jaime in the book.
They might not have the perfect ending like what I've seen in the show (that was the best ending ever) but whatever it will be, I bet it's gonna be dramatic...
One thing I hope is that they better die together just like they came in to this world together.

Also these wonderful amazing Illustrated hard cover edition
will be added to my great collection of ASOIF world.

Since I was a teenager, I have been a big fan of ASOIAF.
So... of course I already have all the ASOIAF books from George R.R. Martin.
I have already read everything from book 1 to book 5 and I'm waiting for book 6, TWOW to come out anytime soon...
I'm also actually on the second round, re-reading ASOIF from beginning again!

I have never read it before...
It's about the Targaryen History.
My favorite House is the Lannister and least favorite House is the Stark (thanks to Ned Stark the Hypocrite and worst selfish stupidest bitch Lyanna Whore the Stink who left her family and ran off with mentally damaged selfish married prince and caused so many death and miseries and broke so many people's marriage including her own brother's.)
I hate them because they were beautified too much, when they were nothing that great or honorable.
Anyway enough about my hatred for particular Stink... I mean the Stark members...
My next favorite House is the House Targareyn, yes the Mad Dragon House!!!
Yes, most of them are cruel and mad.
Some of the members like Rhaegar or was it Ratgar? Whatever, that hypocrite moron prince's name was... he was beautified but I hate him the most among all the members. I don't mind mean or cruel people but I really really really hate characters that get beautified when they're nothing close to honorable. What he did to his wife and to the realm was not an act of love but was a selfish foolish act. What he did at the tourney was humiliation to his own lady wife and his wife's family...
He was nothing close to being honorable but just a stink rat who had no respect for his own wife and own family.
Nevertheless, the other Targareyn members can be so interesting! Dragons and all! I love dragons.
I love Daenerys Targaryen too.
This book is not about Daenerys Targaryen though...
I haven't read it but I believe this goes back to the past... 300 years? 200 years ago? I don't know...but the history of the House Targaryen...
I'm excited!!!

これは届いてから、5日後の写真。
カメラアプリで捕ったものなので色合いは明るいが、実際は濃い赤だ。
まだまだ綺麗で、まったく枯れていない。

私が大好きな花は、赤い薔薇、
赤でも色々あるが、血のように真っ赤な、深い赤の薔薇が好き。
薔薇はロマンチックというが、私はあまりロマンチックな事が好きではないし、私にとって、薔薇はゴシックやダークファンタジーを連想する。

赤い薔薇の次に好きなのは、真っ赤な彼岸花。
その次に好きなのは、真っ赤なダリア。
その次に好きなのは、しだれ桜。
桜も色々種類あるし、私は別に桜ファンではないが、しだれ桜はなぜか、とても好き。幻想的だから。
あとは、夜桜。夜にみる桜は好きだ。

好きな花は、私の好みを表していると思う。
ダークな印象でいて、美しいものが好きで、
ゴシックファンタジー映画や小説の中に出てきそうな花ばかりだ。
